Deyra Little
Derya Little was born and raised in Muslim Turkey. She had no use for God after her parents divorced, declaring herself an atheist. During her efforts to convince a Christian missionary that God does not exist, she found herself converted to Christianity instead. While attending a Turkish university, she served as a Christian youth minister while she explored what it truly means to be a Christian, a journey that brought her into the Catholic faith. She is the author of her conversion story, “From Islam to Christ,” and focuses on sharing her rich faith through Catholic publications and her podcast, “Live a Little.”
