Teresa Tomeo

Teresa Tomeo is an author, syndicated Catholic talk show host, and motivational speaker with more than 30 years of experience in TV, radio and newspaper.

In the year 2000, Teresa left the secular media to start her own speaking and communications company.  Teresa’s daily morning radio program, Catholic Connection, is produced by Ave Maria Radio in Ann Arbor, Michigan and now heard on over 200 Catholic stations nationwide through the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network.  Her talk show is also carried on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.

Teresa is a columnist and special correspondent for the national Catholic newspaper, Our Sunday Visitor. She appears frequently onEWTN Catholic Television. Teresa and co-hosts the new EWTN program The Catholic View for Women.  Teresa has also been featured on The O’Reilly Factor Fox News, Fox & Friends, and MSNBC discussing issues of faith and media awareness.

In 2008, Teresa was chosen as only one of 270 delegates from around the world to attend the Vatican Women’s Congress held in Rome, marking the 20th Anniversary of John Paul the Second’s Letter entitled On the Dignity and Vocation of Women.

As a speaker, Teresa travels around the country addressing media awareness and activism, as well as sharing her reversion to the Catholic Church. Her latest book, Extreme Makeover: Women Transformed by Christ, Not Conformed to the Culture was released in October of 2011 from Ignatius Press and is a Catholic best seller. Her first book, Noise: How Our Media Saturated Culture Dominates Lives and Dismantles Families, is published by Ascension Press and is also a Catholic best seller.   Her second book, Newsflash! My Surprising Journey from Secular Anchor to Media Evangelist was published in September of 2008.  Teresa has also co-authored a series of best selling Catholic books called All Things Girl for tween girls focusing on modesty and chastity.


Father Ken Omernick

Kenneth Omernick was born inMilwaukee,Wisconsinon November 2, 1948. He attended St. Aloysius Grade School inWest Allisand De Sales Preparatory Seminary. He graduated fromSaintFrancisCollegein 1970 with an undergraduate degree in theology, and from Saint Francis Seminary with a Masters in Theology in 1974.

After his ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee by Most Rev. William E. Cousins on May 25, 1974, he was appointed associate pastor of St. Matthias Parish inMilwaukeein June, 1974. After serving the people of St. Matthias for 7 years, Father Ken was selected for further graduate studies for the Milwaukee Archdiocese. He spent the next several years inRome,Italy, where he completed graduate work in Spiritual Theology in 1985.

Upon his return toMilwaukeeFather Ken ministered as Formation Director and Professor of Spirituality as Saint Francis Seminary from 1985 to 1997, during which time he also served several parishes as an assisting priest. In July 1997 Father Ken was appointed pastor of St. Gregory the Great Parish inMilwaukee. He served the people there for 12 years. His love for his parishioners was evident in his welcome smile for school children and his emphasis on excellence in education; his joy for newly married couples on their wedding day; his delight in baptizing infants, his compassion for families at the time of loss, and his inspired preaching and prayer.

In June 2009, Father Ken became the parish priest (in the absence of an archbishop he cannot be named “pastor”) of St. Charles Parish in Hartland, Wisconsin.


Lydia LoCoco

Lydia LoCoco is   director of the Nazareth Project for Marriage and Family Formation.  This office is part of theJohnPaulIICenterin the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and is responsible for engaged enrichment, marriage and family ministries, respect life, human sexuality including natural family planning, ministry to the separated and divorced, and bereavement ministry.

Lydia has her BA and MTS in Theology, both from the University of Dallas, and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Mundelein Seminary.  She has been married to attorney Francis LoCoco for twenty-eight years, and they are the parents of eight children.


Susan Tassone

Susan is a 30-year veteran and consultant with a Catholic nonprofit organization inChicago.  In 1995, Susan was recognized by Corporate Chicago for her dedication and accomplishments in her field.

She began her career as a teacher at St. Scholastica, a Roman Catholic high school for girls inChicago.  Susan holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both fromLoyolaUniversityinChicago.

Susan gives lectures nationwide on the Holy Souls in Purgatory and also appears on various cable networks.  A regular on guest on radio talk shows, she has given over 300 radio talk shows, and she writes regularly for numerous publications, magazines, and worldwide websites.  She is a popular conference and retreat speaker.  She is a dynamic speaker and has the unique ability to bring the Saints and Purgatory alive, captivating audiences worldwide.

She also collects donations for Masses for their release from Purgatory and generally wages a crusade to get people to follow her lead.  Currently, over $2,000,000 has been contributed for Masses for the Holy Souls.  These donations have made it possible to celebrate over 400,000 Masses worldwide!  She also serves as a group leader for a variety of Catholic pilgrimages toEurope.

Susan is the author of six best selling books: The Way of the Cross for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, Praying in the Presence of our Lord for the Holy Souls, The Rosary for the Holy Souls, 30 Day Devotions for the Holy Souls, Prayers for Eternal Life, and Praying with the Saints for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
