Sheila Gribben Liaugminas

Sheila Gribben Liaugminas is an Emmy Award winning journalist with extensive experience in both secular and religious journalism.  Her writing and broadcasting covers matters of faith, culture, politics and the media.  She has been published in the Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business, and the National Review Online.  Sheila has been active in the religious media, with contributions to the National Catholic Register, Crisis Magazine, Adoremus Bulletin, and Voices, the magazine published by Women for Faith in Family.  She can also be heard reading the Sunday Gospel on www.H2onews.org in the English edition.


Dr. Pia de Solenni

Dr. Pia de Solenni is an ethicist and moral theologian who speaks and writes on a variety of cultural and moral issues.  Her work has appeared in various publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times and The Associated Press.  She is a frequent commentator on MSNBC, FOX, CNN and other nationally televised programs.  Dr. de Solenni received her doctorate in sacred theology summa cum laude from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome, where she received an award for her doctoral work.  The award was presented by the late Pope John Paul II.  In addition to the doctorate, Dr. de Solenni holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts-Great Books from Thomas Aquinas College, California; a Sacred Theology Baccalaureate from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), Rome; and a Sacred Theology Licentiate from Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome.


Vicki Thorn

Vicki Thorn is the founder of Project Rachel, the Catholic Church’s ministry for post-abortion healing, and the Executive Director of the National Office of Post-Abortion Reconciliation & Healing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  An international expert and sought-after speaker on abortion recovery, she works with women and men recovering from abortion loss.  This work led her to research how humans fall in love and bond to each other.  She is a trauma counselor, spiritual director and prenatal loss and bereavement facilitator.  She and her husband have six children.


Yvonne Florczak-Seeman

Yvonne is President and founder of Love From Above, a company that seeks to employ women who have been hurt by abortion, are in crisis pregnancies, or single moms who have chosen life rather than abortion.  She is currently developing Pure Revolution, a movement designed to encourage chastity in youth by calling them to revolutionize their lives, and the world around them, by committing themselves to purity in every area of their lives.  Yvonne works with and supports a variety of organizations, including: National Foundation for Life, Woman’s Choice Services, and Project Rachel.


Very Reverend Donald J. Hying

Saint Francis de Sales Seminary Rector

Archbishop Timothy Dolan appointed Very Reverend Donald J. Hying as rector of Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, effective July 1, 2007.  Ordained to the priesthood May 20, 1989 by Archbishop Rembert G. Weakland, O.S.B., Fr. Hying has served as Director of Formation at the Seminary since August 2005.  Prior to that, he was pastor of Our Lady of Good Hope Parish, Milwaukee, from 1999-2005.  Fr. Hying’s first appointment was as an associate pastor at St. Anthony Parish, Menomonee Falls, from 1989-1994.  He then served as a team member at La Sagrada Familia, an archdiocesan parish located in the Dominican Republic, from 1994-1998.  Upon his return to the archdiocese, Fr. Hying was an associate pastor at St. Anthony Parish, Milwaukee, from 1998 until his appointment at Our Lady of Good Hope.
